THE NIGHT SKY

The night sky....

Dark, dull and dismaying
But only till you notice
The glint of stars, the moon smiling

O look, the soothing gale carcasses ya!
And finally, the sun rising again
And now it's time like the sun
For your smile to overcome pain

Your voice is the stars
Your face is the moon
Your smile, the breeze and
Your hug vanquishes all despair so soon

But the melancholy on your face is the darkness
And that diminishes all scope of light
All I want is to see ya alright
And then, there's no dark in the night
