TO THIS NATION

The three colours combine to broaden thy heart

And arise the feeling towards the world's part
Where brave hearts died for you and me
To protect the nation that you see.
Here like a smile, a lotus blooms
And a peacock's dance resumes.
Where beautiful colours fly
And festivals glow to make the sun shy.
Where splendor and glory reside
Unity, delight and glamour glide.
Where the anthem we recite
To adorn orange, green and white.
Where darkness forgets its way
Such a wonderful place, we have to say.
Where sovereignty and democracy enroll
That Bharat is our soul.
My mother nation I honour thee
And ennoble you with glee.
Our freedom today we celebrate
